Coming in at #8 is Sylvain’s one and only Royal Rumble appearance in 2006. Having won a qualifying match a few weeks earlier, he was the 10th man into the match and he immediately went after Lashley, telling him who they should go after. As soon as Lashley’s back was turned, Sylvain went after him. The two men traded punches until Lashley threw Sylvain out of the ring after approximately 35 seconds.

The PPV debut of La Résistance. They had a tag team match against Scott Steiner and Test, who were accompanied to the ring by Stacy Keibler. Before the match starts, Grenier starts talking on the microphone, asking why the crowd hated them (La Résistance). Duprée takes the microphone, telling the crowd the the American Government encourages the nation to hate the French. Grenier takes back the microphone, telling the crowd to “sit back and marvel how we going to take care of those bullies.” Test and Duprée start off, with Test slapping Duprée hard. Grenier tries to interfere but is knocked off the ring apron. Steiner into the ring where he beats up on both Duprée and Grenier. Steiner goes after Grenier on the outside who rams Steiner’s back into the ring. Both La Résistance members in the ring and they give Steiner a double suplex. Grenier goes for the cover but doesn’t get the three count. Grenier is irish whipped into the corner of the ring but Steiner runs into a boot. Grenier with a clothesline from the second rope and another cover, which isn’t successful. Grenier tells Duprée to climb to the top rope but he is caught by Steiner who goes for a belly-to-belly suplex. Test into the ring where he proceeds to beat up on both Duprée and Grenier. Test puts on one of La Résistance’s berets before charging at Grenier who pulls the referee in front of him. Grenier reverses a move and goes for the cover, using the ropes for leverage. All four men are now in the ring and some degree of chaos ensues. Test with a pump handle slam on Grenier and he goes for the cover but the referee is distracted by Steiner and doesn’t make the count. Stacy gets onto the ring apron to complain to the referee and she is joined by Test. Grenier with a dropkick to Test who knocks Stacy off the ring apron and into the arms of Steiner. Grenier goes for a roll-up but doesn’t get the three count. All four men end up in the ring again. Steiner goes for a move on Duprée but Grenier punches him in the back. Steiner turns around only to have Test’s boot run into him. Duprée rams Test into the ring post. Steiner gets to his feet only to walk into La Résistance’s flapjack and Grenier covers him for the win.

This match was for the World Tag Team championship in a 2-on-3 handicap match and the only way to win it was to put every member of the opposing team through a table. La Résistance had the one man advantage and it did help initially when D-Von was eliminated, leaving Bubba Ray. One could be forgiven for thinking that the match would now go in La Résistance’s favour with the two man advantage but things don’t always pan out that way. Sylvain attempted to suplex Bubba Ray through a table in the ring but Bubba Ray reversed it, suplexing Sylvain instead. The two remaining La Résistance members got another table into the ring and attempt to put Bubba Ray through it but D-Von moves it, saving the match for his team. The two then lift Rob Conway out of the ring and through a table at ringside, leaving one man each on both teams. Sylvain attempts to hit Bubba Ray with the French flag but it backfires, with D-Von hitting him with it instead. Duprée with a double clothesline to the Dudleys and he sets up yet another table in the ring. Attempting to put D-Von through it, it backfires and the Dudleys 3D Duprée through the table for the win and the World Tag Team titles.

Just giving you all a heads up that I will be adding some more pictures of Sylvain to the image gallery – these ones are from the 2006 Hall of Fame ceremony. If they aren’t added to the gallery today, they will be tomorrow.
The site coversion is now complete! I have edited all of the site’s main pages and have checked to see that they don’t lead to the index page (which is what happens if there is no such page). Although if you do notice the odd page that doesn’t appear to be what it should, feel free to leave a comment and I will get onto it as soon as I can.
I will be going on an affiliate hunt also and there will be more pictures uploaded to the gallery, as well as new media (have just uploaded some support buttons, a couple more link buttons and more AIM icons). I have found a few sound files on my portable hard drive that I may also add to the site at a later date.

I heard from a few people that Sylvan [sic] Grenier was at both the PPV and Raw this week for a tryout but as far I heard, it didn’t happen. Hey, you can’t blame him for trying.
I thought about posting a list of Sylvain’s top 10 WWE moments but decided to get some input from visitors.
All you have to do is visit this page and fill in the form there, adding ideas if yours aren’t listed. I’ve tested it several times and it goes through fine for me. What I hope to achieve by this is to get as much input from Sylvain fans as possible regarding his top WWE moments.
